Australia beat SriLanka


Australia beat Sri Lanka by five points in a thrilling One Day (ODI) International Commonwealth Bank Series at WACA, Perth, Australia, Friday, February 10, 2012.
Batting first, the home team was unable to make a big impression and was just 231 points for 49.1 overs. Skipper Michael Clarke was the only batsman scoring a half century in the innings, as he top scored with 57 tracks.
However, the veteran drummer was not able to bat through the innings, which upset his side with five balls to spare saws. There were also a few starts of some of the few Australian batsmen other, but nobody was able to capitalize on this.
Sri Lanka's bowlers were disciplined and almost all chipped in, picking up wickets. Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara and Anglo Mathews has managed to collect some few wickets in each innings.
